Three Credits LA A study of the basic principles of the immune response. The cellular and humoral systems will be analyzed. Topic areas to be covered will include: the biology and chemistry of the immune response, complement fixation, immunodiagnoses, immunoassay, immunopathology, autoimmunity, transplant and cancer immunology. Three-hour lecture per week. Prerequisites: BIOL 130-131 and CHEM 131-132 or equivalent
