Three Credits A study of financial and accounting techniques used to control government spending and channel funds into more productive areas. Zero-based budgeting is covered in detail. Cost-benefit approach to both monetary and non-monetary government programs is covered via case studies. Program planning budgeting systems are also covered. Restricted to students in the Public Administration Concentration. Not open to Accounting majors. Offered every other year.
