Three Credits LA This is a course in human physiology designed for the non-science major. Students will study how the body works and what causes disease. The class will also examine how current medical research approaches the problem of how to treat or cure a specific illness. Topics will include: the nervous system and brain, the respiratory system, the cardiovascular system, exercise physiology, the digestive system, and the reproductive system. Three-hour lecture per week.
