3 cr. 3 hr. This course integrates theory, empirical studies and case studies to analyze the effects of government regulations on the structure and organization of U.S. business firms. Several cases of antitrust legislation are studied. In addition, the course shows how political and economic issues affect industrial organization. I Prerequisites: satisfactory completion of the College Mathematical Readiness requirement and ECON 1200.
