4 cr. 5 hr. This course is designed for the student of Early Childhood Education who is interested in exploring early childhood prior to the kindergarten and public school experience. The students investigate a variety of models and curriculum programs designed for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Further the student experiences a wide variety of pre-kindergarten settings and explores the systems designed to create, administer and evaluate such programs.
