3 cr. 3 hr. This course includes an examination of the reading process with emphasis on methods of evaluation and strategies for reading. Reading skills and procedures for developing these skills are examined, and current approaches to the teaching of reading are evaluated. The student is made cognizant of methods of grouping and evaluation procedures. A pre-practicum is required. Prerequisites: PSY 2210, EDUC 2710.
