The morphology and diagnostic identification of representative groups of parasitic protozoa, helminths, and arthropods are studied along with their functional life cycles and pathogenic relationships to animal and human hosts. Emphasis is placed on epidemiology, pathology, control, and treatment of important parasitic diseases. Prerequisite: BIOL 1900.
