3 Credits This course provides the student with a basic understanding of the history of the Christian Church in its early formative years until the Reformation period. The course covers the intellectual, artistic, liturgical, organizational, devotional, and mission activities of the church, utilizing primary source materials. Emphasis is given to inspiring figures of the era and the challenge they bring also to our contemporary church work.
