3 cr. 3 hr. The course examines the methods for teaching modern science, includes a 25 hour pre-practicum, and is a prerequisite for student teaching. Topics include methods for teaching scientific inquiry, bioethical decision-making, and critical thinking as well as research on alternative assessment, classroom management and technology in the classroom.
