Mark Brummitt This will be a course in Bible and culture focusing specifically on the medium of movies and movie-making. Not simply an examination of screen representations of biblical stories, we shall at times juxtapose the biblical text with some surprising-even unlikely-cinematic choices. Under scrutiny, therefore, will be cultural selfrepresentation and the part and place of the Bible in that.
