This performance-based course is for students seeking dual endorsement in elementary and special education. Students apply their learning from their classroom learning in EDE/SPED 409A and their internship experiences to the writing of IEPs, including all required elements of WAC 392-172, current Public Law 94-142, IDEA Improvement Act of 2004, instructional methods in special education, and procedural and substantive legal issues in special education as related to the IEP process.
