This is the performance-based companion course to EDE/SPED 411A for candidates seeking an alternative route to certification with dual endorsements in elementary education and special education. The focus is on the integration of the creative arts into the K-8 and special education classroom. Candidates apply elements, principles, related concepts, and vocabulary of the creative arts, as well as district and state guidelines for the creative arts, to an integrated unit plan they intend to teach.
