This course examines a number of technical and business issues that impact the development and deployment of web applications and web sites. Topics include web application security, user session management, copyright/ patent/trademark law and software licenses, and XML and web services. The course is structured around a series of assignments that investigate the core topics and, in parallel, group development projects designed to apply these concepts to real world examples.
