This course, which deals primarily with the concerns of cultural anthropology, focuses on the study of human diversity, and what defines humanity. It explores the beliefs, values, behaviors, technologies, and environments of a wide variety of cultures in an attempt to understand and appreciate variations within the human community in addition to evolution and modern biological variation. In attempting to understand the world's diversity, students have the opportunity to better understand themselves, their potentials, and their limitations.
