This course will focus on the strategy and theory of coaching ice hockey. The facets of the game discussed will be practice and season planning, appropriate instruction of hockey skills, offensive and defensive tactics, scouting, office and defensive systems, mental training, special teams, goaltending, statistics and coaching professionally. The course will prepare the students to be certified in both Level I (initiation) and 2 (associate) of the USA Hockey Coaching Education Program. Spring
