This course will provide a systematic introduction to the use of computing in the arts and humanities including file management, word processing, electronic mail, the use of the world wide web for research and publication, image editing and page layout. This course fulfills the general education computer proficiency requirement and provides basic skills for further study in graphic arts. It does not count toward art program requirements. Lab fee: $20. Every semester.
