This course focuses on the concepts and logic that form the foundation of federal income tax law. Current tax law is examined in the context of these concepts. Various taxable entities are considered but the primary focus is on the individual and small business. Full coverage of federal income tax law requires that tax return preparation and tax law research also be included. Prerequisite: ACC 3011, co-requisite ACC 4041L. Materials charge $20. Spring.
