This course presents two dimensional design theory; basic to graphic design in print media. Elements of design such as form, line, color, balance, movement and space are addressed. Traditional graphic design tools are employed and design issues are addressed in the context of graphic communication. Problems may include posters, book jackets, logos and signage development. A studio fee may be required. Fall.
