This course is designed to acquaint students with the historical content of the mass media and its relationship with minorities and women in advertising, entertainment, broadcasting, and public relations campaigns. The course is designed to discourage negative reinforced stereotypical thoughts and attitudes concerning the role of minorities and women in the broadcast industry. Pre-requisite CO 100 and 203.
