This course encompasses numerous areas concerning new and developing issues in biological sciences. Students are required to address several topics assigned in class and in addition, describe what they think are "modern problems." Although the courseis designed to allow students independence in selecting certain topics, it also enables them to learn how to read and interpret scientific articles and to present those articles to the class.
