This course covers a systematic examination of market structure, conduct and performance in the various sub-sectors of production agriculture and the agribusiness system. Special attention will be given to the following: factors affecting prices, study of marketing channels and agencies, agricultural and agribusiness cooperatives, and strategies for managing the marketing mix.
