Provides students with a conceptual overview of the basic tax structure encountered by business organizations. Students who are managers or potential managers gain competency in recognizing business transactions that may have tax consequences. The emphasis is on the Federal Income Tax, but business firms also face multijurisdictional tax issues. This course includes a research component to allow students to further develop written and oral communication skills. Pre-requisite: AC 680 or consent of Instructor.
