A student who places at the third-year level on the language placement examination and completes a course at the third-year level is eligible for 6 credit hours of special credit in GER-G 298. Astudent who places in the second semester of the second year and completes a course at the second-semester, second-year level is eligible for 3 credit hours of special credit in GERG 298. If the grade earned is A, it is recorded for special credit; if the grade is B, S is recorded for special credit. No special credit is given if the grade earned is less than B.
