The course evaluates disease processes of skeletal, renal, digestive, respiratory, vascular and central nervous systems, as visualized on radiographs, CT and MR scans, plain and contrast. Body systems are evaluated to identify gross changes indicative of pathology along with normal and abnormal markers. Radiographic imaging technique to demonstrate disease processes is assessed. The course allows learners to analyze patient physiological changes in organ systems; and psychological approaches to patient management. Patient treatment plans to include costs and efficacy of alternative diagnostic procedures will be assessed.
