The course provides an evaluation of anatomy, radiographic terminology and positioning for radiologic examination of the cranium. Adaptation of radiographic examinations strategies and techniques for geriatric and pediatric patients is provided. Mobile equipment, imaging procedures in surgery and trauma protocols, contrast media, equipment and patient care considerations for Myelography, Arthrography, Hysterosalpingography and Venography are discussed. Method of instruction includes lecture and active learning; two hours, lecture, one 2-hour lab. Supplemental online learning activities are provided. Prerequisite: RADS 122. Corequisite: RADS 200.
