The occurrence, distribution, and transmission of disease in human populations are examined. The physiological effects of selected disease processes on specific organs and consequential systemic responses are examined. Three hours classroom per week. Prerequisites: Successful completion of 200 level med-math competency test and admission to 300 level nursing courses. Concurrent with NURS 338.
