Development of the student's logic and methodology in identifying factors in corporate financial decision-making situations and in analyzing those factors to reach supportable conclusions compatible with the objectives of the firm. Focus of the course is on forms of business organization, financial statement and cash flow analysis, risk assessment, capital budgeting, the time value of money, and bond and stock valuation. Prerequisite: ACCT 205.
