Intensive examination of the writing process and the dynamics of composing. Focuses on the interrelated aspects of writer, subject, reader, and form as these aspects pertain to nonfiction writing. Instruction in packaging and submitting manuscripts and selecting markets for potential publication. Workshop setting fostering a supportive community of writers intent on skill development. Prerequisite: ENGL 102 or its equivalent. Offered in the Fall semester.
