Essential knowledge of pharmacological principles is applied to the nursing process across the lifespan. The pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacotherapeutics for major drug classifications are explored. A major focus is on the nursing care of the person receiving drug therapy. Three hours classroom per week. Concurrent: NURS 316/316L or NURS 323/323L.
