Department Study, practice, and application of the Viewpoints technique, which includes a training discipline for performers, a technique for improvisation, a process for collaborative creativity, a tool for staging, and a language for communication among artists. The Viewpoints offer a method for performers to exercise all muscles-physical, imaginative, and emotional-resulting in increasedobservational abilities and responsiveness. Open to first-year students. No prerequisite. May be repeated for credit. Not offered in 2008-09. (CRE)
