Application of techniques for culturing, study, and identification of bacteria and related microbial forms in lab. Three hours of lecture and one 2-hour lab. Prerequisite: At least three credits of 100-level Science: BIOL 120/120L, GSCI 104 or GSCI-107. Does not fulfill concentration requirement in Biology/Biochemistry.
