Emphasizes the appreciation and evaluation of theatre in production. The course examines, at the introductory level, the functions of playwrights, actors, directors, and designers in the production process. Students are required to attend evening performances and to view theatre productions on videotape. Lab fee for theatre tickets. Open to first-year students. No prerequisite. Not offered in 2008-09.
