Beach The diversity and complexity of different cell types found in multicellular organisms is extensive, yet all eucaryotic cells have the same basic molecular components. One of the four core courses for the biology major, this course provides an overview of cell structure, biological macromolecules, cellular reproduction, and gene structure and function. Open to first-year students. Prerequisite: CHEM 101 or CHEM 105, BIOL 220, or permission. Offered Term 1. (SCI: must take lab to fulfill SCI)
