Wilson Why are there no flying elephants? In this course we will compare the design and structure of vertebrate animals in relationship to the environments in which they evolve. We will emphasize the functional morphology of anatomical systems and major adaptive changes in the evolution of vertebrate structure. Prerequisite: BIOL 220. Not offered in 2008-09.
