This course offers students an option to conduct independent research in an area of interest to them under the guidance of faculty supervision. Students will develop and refine skills needed to conduct and convey research in the discipline, be exposed to literature in the field, write a paper following a style guide and conventions used in the discipline, and orally defend their research. One to three credits.
