This experiential course emphasizes basic knowledge and skill development for the safe participation in orienteering. Orienteering is the art of navigating through an area with map and compass. The course introduces orienteering with emphasis on the activity as both a sport as well as an educational tool. Meets Physical Education Liberal Arts Core requirement. Two hours, one credit.
