Uses both knowledge and skill techniques to teach students the various components of physical fitness and wellness. Each student will learn to assess the various components of cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, muscle flexibility, body composition, and weight control. Upon completion of the course, each student will be able to develop and regularly update his or her own lifetime program to improve the components of physical fitness and wellness. Two hours, one credit.
