The internship in Recreation and Leisure is a required off-campus work or volunteer experience in an approved leisure services agency. Agencies may be in the public, private, commercial, industrial, educational, church-related, therapeutic, or armed forces sectors. The internship experience must be a minimum of 400 hours and ten weeks. Prerequisites: REC 260, 270, 370, and 50 hours approved work experience. Four credits.
