This course (All-Level Strategies II) provides those preparing to teach in grades Pre-K-12 (Art, Educational Theater, Foreign Languages, or Physical Education) with instruction in the following topics: communication processes appropriate in elementary, middle and secondary settings; developing and implementation of classroom management plans based on theories and empirical research appropriate for constructing effective environments in elementary, middle, and secondary settings; and, teaching methods and strategies used in general education classrooms that appropriate for exceptional students, including gifted and talented, as well those with disabling conditions. Students are required to complete a 20 hour internship. Prerequisites: PSY 213, EDU 202, EDU 302, EDU 312, and passing scores on Praxis I. Co-Requisite: EDU 358. Three credits.
