Emphasis is placed on Euclidean Geometry and its postulates. Non-Euclidean geometry and the subsequent developments in mathematics are included. The student will study one or more geometric axiom systems and construct many proofs relying solely on logic and the axioms. Prerequisite: MTH 212. Three hours, three credits.
