This course (Secondary Strategies II) provides those preparing to teach in grades 7-12 with instruction in the following topics: communication processes; developing and implementing of classroom management plans based on theory and empirical research; and, teaching methods and strategies used in general education classrooms that appropriate for exceptional students, including gifted and talented, as well those with disabling conditions. Students are required to complete a 20 hour internship. Prerequisites: PSY 213, EDU 202, EDU 302, EDU 312, and passing scores on Praxis I. Co- Requisite: EDU 355. Three credits.
