Provides students with a fundamental understanding of the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of a variety of quantitative data. It integrates a complete course in introductory statistics with a survey of fundamental environmental techniques by combining lectures with a series of class research projects. Required of all Environmental Science majors. Prerequisites: A grade of "C" or higher is MTH 100 or High School Algebra I and II . Six hours, four credits each.
