This course introduces basic elements of dance including movement, rhythm patterns, balance, and body alignment. It presents specific techniques from ballet, tap, jazz, ballroom, folk, ethnic, and country line dancing to develop strength, flexibility, balance, precision, and the freedom to move more creatively. Meets Physical Education requirement. Two hours, one credit.
