A course for level three painting students that allows them the opportunity to study and expand their personal styles of painting and learn more advanced painting techniques. Emphasis will be placed upon individual interpretation of class painting assignments. Students must exhibit a heightened awareness and understanding of painting and exhibit control and competence in three or more painting media. Emphasis is placed on developing a portfolio with slides that exhibits versatility and proficiency in painting. Prerequisite: ART 312. Six hours, three credits.
