A capstone course to develop and build critical acumen with respect to oral and written expression, to provide an introduction to some of the contemporary critical methodologies as they apply to literature in the target language, and to aid in the acquisition of the specialized vocabulary and knowledge necessary to correspond in the target language. Extensive reading, writing, and analysis. Prerequisite: senior standing or permission of department. Offered spring semesters.
