A study of modern German culture and history and the role Germany has played in Central Europe in the last fifty years. Using literary texts, interviews, medial reports, memoirs, diaries, photographs, poems, songs and videos, students will enhance their German reading, conversation and composition skills. Prerequisite: 310 or 311, or permission of instructor. Generally offered alternate years.
