Student Teaching in Art, Health and Physical Education is an intensive fourteen week experience in appropriate school settings. The experience allows the candidate to demonstrate the knowledge, dispositions, and skills of the ten performance areas for entry year teachers in the State of Ohio under the direct supervision of school and university personnel. Candidates conduct ongoing reflection, analysis, and evaluation of the experience. Candidates in Multi-Age Education must complete experiences in two different settings, serving children of two different program levels. Prerequisite: Admission into Student Teaching. Offered fall and spring.
