Explores the application of systems theories and nursing informatics within the context of information science, computer science, nursing science and the delivery of health care through nursing practice, administration, research and education. In addition, legal, ethical and social implications are addressed. Prerequisite: basic computer literacy. This course fulfills three hours of elective credit for the BSN or BSN-Completion program. Open only to BSN or BSN-Completion students who have been accepted into the MSN Fast Track.
