A study of descriptive and inferential statistics, including probability, distribution, confidence intervals, correlation, regression, and time series. Emphasis will be placed on the application of statistics to the various functional areas of business. Students will be taught to use Excel to conduct statistical analysis, and will read and interpret statistical results. Prerequisites: BUS 101, MATH 120 or 130.
