The focus of this course is nursing management of adults of all ages who are experiencing acute health alterations affecting multiple body systems. Emphasis is on expanding and applying knowledge of health alterations for the purpose of helping adults achieve their optimum level of health. The course will include theory, laboratory practice and a clinical practicum. Placement: junior year. Prerequisites: NURS 110, 201, 202, 221, 300.
